Half Day Executive Program: Finding Calm & Clarity
This program is designed to complement your existing support systems and act as a tune up. It is ideal for people who are very busy and successful and know they need to take short pauses regularly to get present and to build in perspective.
Richard Louv, author of Last Child in the Woods, said that as technology increases your time in nature needs to increase. He was right, those who are naturewise have an edge in today’s busy distracted world
Science shows that those to take the time to connect to nature, even for short amounts of time regularly have lower blood pressure, decreased stress and increased focus, critical thinking and decision making skills.
Taking time out in nature calms your executive function which governs the higher thinking aspects of the brain. Research shows that time in the forest delivers all these benefits and many more (you will also increase your cancer and tumor fighting white blood cells.
The way this program works is you will have a pre walk conversation with me to clarify what you are working on. On the day of the program I will take you on a specialized hour Forest Bathing walk in Canmore (or Banff) to help you shift gears. My clients all report they easily fall into to a deeply reflective space during the walk. Depending on your intention I may start a conversation or give you a question to walk with. There will be a debrief time at the end and a follow up conversation after the walk.
You will come away with a deep sense of wellbeing and presence. Clarity naturally arises from this space and your answers will come easily.
You will learn how to do this process on your own and can do it anywhere- any time. Knowing how to do this will give you an edge in today’s busy distracted world.
